As portable as they come, the tiny (4.4- by 1.6- by 1.0-inch) Motorola V8162 weighs just 3.2 ounces with a battery rated for 2.5 hours of talk time. A great design, the dual-mode analog/CDMA digital flip phone has tiny indents on each side of the cover for one-handed opening and generous vertical key spacing that makes its keypad easier to use than that of the larger TimePort P8167. The phonebook holds 99 names with four numbers each, but the unit has no voice dialing. A headset jack and vibration mode are built-in.
